Using ErrandBwoy
These Terms of Use govern the ErrandBwoy apps, website and related services operated by Pintop Technologies Limited, St Finbarr’s College Rd, Akoka Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. “We” means Pintop Technologies Limited. “Customer” means a member requesting help; “GoGuy” means a member offering services.
Read these terms before creating an account or arranging work. By accepting them in the app or using the service, you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or arrange an errand. These product terms apply to ErrandBwoy; a separate written agreement applies to any separate Pintop service you purchase.
Read our Privacy Policy for how information is handled. Agreeing to these terms does not replace the specific permissions and consent required for location, identity checks or other sensitive features.
Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into an agreement. Provide accurate details, use your own identity, keep contact information current and protect your password and verification codes. Do not share an account, impersonate another person or sell account access. Tell support promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
GoGuys must complete applicable onboarding and verification and meet the requirements of each service they offer. Extra checks apply to certain care and safeguarding services. Approval can expire or be reviewed; registration, a verification badge or joining the platform does not guarantee approval, work, earnings or a person’s future conduct.
What the platform does
ErrandBwoy helps customers and GoGuys discover one another, agree work and manage communication, task updates and payments. Availability depends on the service, location, eligibility and members who are available.
The customer and GoGuy agree the task and are responsible for their own conduct and commitments. GoGuys decide which eligible work to accept and when they are available. Using ErrandBwoy does not by itself create employment, an agency relationship or a guaranteed income; any rights arising under applicable law still apply.
Choose only work you can perform safely and competently. A listing is not a professional licence. Do not offer regulated, hazardous or specialist services unless the platform permits the service and you meet the applicable requirements.
Agreeing and completing work
Customers should describe the work, location, timing, access, supplies and relevant risks accurately. GoGuys should review the scope, travel and time required before accepting. Confirm the service price and any permitted expenses in the app before starting. Changes to scope, timing or price need both parties’ agreement through the available app flow.
Customers must provide safe access and be available for necessary instructions and completion checks. GoGuys must attend as agreed, communicate delays, protect property and follow lawful instructions within the agreed scope. Neither party may pressure the other to complete unsafe, unlawful or unagreed work.
Use task updates, messages and completion evidence honestly. A completion code or confirmation should be supplied only at the stage the app requests and after the agreed checks. Never fabricate GPS positions, receipts, attendance, photographs or completion records.
Service prices, secure payments and earnings
The app shows the service price and applicable platform fees before you confirm the relevant action. Shopping budgets, materials and other purchases are separate from payment for a GoGuy’s work unless the agreed booking explicitly says otherwise. Agree those expenses and keep receipts.
Where an errand requires a secure payment, that payment is held safely until the applicable completion, release, cancellation or dispute process is followed. Do not send the service payment outside the platform, request passwords or verification codes, or ask a member to bypass the app’s payment controls.
GoGuy earnings depend on completed work, the agreed service price and applicable fees. The app shows the relevant breakdown. Withdrawals depend on available cleared funds, verified payout information, provider processing and any required review. We do not promise instant settlement, a fixed salary or a minimum number of jobs.
You are responsible for authorised charges and your own applicable taxes. If a payment fails, is reversed, duplicated or disputed, use support and the in-app claims flow so the underlying transaction can be checked. We may restrict an affected payment or account while a legitimate issue is investigated.
Cancellations, refunds and disagreements
If plans change, use the errand’s cancellation or support options promptly. The outcome depends on the recorded booking, its status, work performed, agreed expenses and applicable law. Cancellation does not automatically mean a full refund or a GoGuy payout; any applicable charges and decisions must be explained through the relevant app or support process.
Report a problem with the errand reference and relevant messages, receipts or photographs. Keep conversations in the app, cooperate with reasonable information requests and do not create false claims. A held payment may remain restricted while the issue is reviewed. Refund arrival times also depend on the payment provider and your bank.
You can ask support to review a decision and provide additional evidence. Nothing in these terms removes rights to a lawful refund, chargeback, complaint or other remedy.
Safe and respectful use
- Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit or harm another person.
- Do not request or provide unlawful goods or services, dangerous work, sexual services, violence, abuse or tasks involving deception.
- Do not misuse identity documents, bank details, private addresses, care information or another person’s photographs.
- Do not interfere with platform security, scrape personal data, evade a suspension, manipulate ratings or use the platform for spam or fraud.
- Follow service-specific safeguards. Adult assistance is not medical care; childcare and other restricted services require the relevant eligibility and consent. Do not substitute unapproved workers or make unagreed care arrangements.
Use the app’s safety and report tools if something is wrong. Move to safety and contact local emergency services in an emergency. ErrandBwoy is not an emergency-response service, and app alerts do not guarantee immediate assistance.
Location, communication and consent
Location features support nearby matching, routes, progress and safety. GoGuys may share location in the background while online and during consented active errands. A task’s customer may receive the GoGuy’s consented position. Location and geofence alerts can be delayed or inaccurate and should not replace your own judgement.
Going offline stops new matching; use the safety panel or device permissions to stop active-task sharing. Keep task communication in the app. You must not use another member’s contact or location information for unrelated purposes, track someone outside the service, or share it without lawful authority.
Provide information about a child, dependent adult or third party only when authorised and only to the extent necessary. Permission controls and data rights are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Photos, messages and platform ownership
You retain rights in content you provide. You give us permission to host, process and share that content as necessary to operate the service, handle support, enforce these terms and meet legal obligations. This does not grant a general right to use private identity documents or task messages for advertising.
Only upload content you have the right to share. Do not expose another person’s private information, submit misleading evidence or infringe intellectual-property rights. We may restrict or remove content that violates these terms or the law.
ErrandBwoy’s software, brand, logos and original site materials belong to Pintop or its licensors. You may use the app for its intended purpose; you may not copy, resell, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, or misrepresent ownership of the service.
Account restrictions and deletion
We may pause matching, restrict features or suspend an account where reasonably necessary for safety, suspected fraud, expired eligibility, unpaid obligations, misuse or legal requirements. We may need to act without advance notice where notice would create a risk. Contact support to ask about a restriction and request review, subject to lawful confidentiality limits.
You may stop using the service and request account deletion. Complete or cancel open errands, settle wallet balances and pending withdrawals first. Deletion has a 30-day recovery period: signing in during it cancels the deletion. After it expires, associated personal data is permanently removed subject to the limited retention and legal-hold exceptions described in the Privacy Policy.
Ending an account does not cancel valid payment obligations, another person’s rights or legally required records.
Availability and responsibility
We take reasonable care in operating ErrandBwoy, but connectivity, maps, payments, notifications and third-party services can be interrupted. We do not guarantee continuous availability, a match, a specific result or the accuracy of another member’s statements. Reasonable maintenance or changes may be needed.
Each member remains responsible for loss caused by their own unlawful conduct, negligence or failure to follow an agreement. We remain responsible for obligations that the law places on us. To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for a member’s independent acts or for indirect losses we could not reasonably foresee.
Nothing excludes liability for fraud or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits your mandatory consumer and data-protection rights. No blanket waiver of those rights is required to use ErrandBwoy.
Applicable law, complaints and updates
These terms are governed by Nigerian law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you use the service. Contact hi@pintoptechnologies.com first to seek resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the competent courts may determine it; these terms do not prevent use of a competent regulator or another lawful remedy.
We may update these terms for changes in features, service operations or law. We will identify the revision date and give appropriate notice of material changes. New terms do not retrospectively change an already agreed task unless required by law or agreed by the affected parties. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions still apply.
