CARE AT EVERY STEP

Clear expectations. Thoughtful safeguards.

A better errand starts with knowing what is agreed, staying connected and speaking up when something is wrong.

Your safety checklist

Care goes both ways.

  • Clear task agreements
  • Permissions you control
  • Support linked to your errand

A PRACTICAL SAFETY CHECK

A few things to check at every stage.

Both people have a part to play in a respectful, well-organised errand. These habits help you make informed choices about the work and the setting.

BEFORE

Know who, where and what.

Read the available profile information and discuss the task. Do not continue with work you do not understand or cannot do safely.

  • Agree the location and work.
  • Discuss access and any relevant hazards.
  • Share only necessary personal information.
DURING

Keep control of the agreement.

A change of location, scope or payment arrangement deserves a conversation. You can pause to ask questions or raise a concern.

  • Keep task communication in the app.
  • Never share passwords or verification codes.
  • Use location-sharing controls thoughtfully.
AFTER

Review and raise concerns clearly.

Check the result and complete the in-app handover. If something went wrong, report the specific issue through the relevant errand.

  • Keep relevant references and receipts.
  • Report conduct or account concerns.
  • Contact local emergency services for immediate danger.

HELP THAT MEETS YOUR STANDARDS

Good help starts
with clear expectations.

Know what’s agreed. Keep in touch. Confirm the result. A shared understanding makes a better errand for everyone.

Conversations, service payments and task updates stay in ErrandBwoy.
  1. 01

    Agree upfront

Set out the task, timing, and service price together before work begins.

  2. 02

    Stay connected

Keep conversations and task updates together in the app, from start to finish.

  3. 03

    Confirm it’s complete

Review the completed errand and confirm when the agreed work is done.

Identity and eligibility.

GoGuys complete the applicable verification and service checks. Certain care services have extra requirements. Checks help inform decisions; they cannot guarantee future behaviour or replace your judgement.

Location with controls.

Nearby discovery uses area and distance. Active-task tracking uses the GoGuy’s consent and device permissions. Stop task sharing from the safety panel or phone settings. GPS can be inaccurate.

Understand location access

Keep it in the app.

Use ErrandBwoy messages, calls and service payments. Never share a password or verification code. Agree changes in the app so there is a clear record if you need support.

Report a concern.

Use the errand’s report or safety options and supply only relevant evidence. In an emergency, move to safety and contact local emergency services. ErrandBwoy is not an emergency-response service.

A SHARED RESPONSIBILITY

Stay connected. Keep your boundaries.

A profile check is one part of making an informed choice. Ask questions, agree the scope and use your judgement about the task and setting.

For both customers and GoGuys, good communication includes the freedom to raise a concern. If the agreed work or location changes, pause and discuss it before carrying on.

Before you meet
Review the profile and agree the place, time and work.
While work is active
Keep relevant messages and task updates in the app.
If something feels wrong
Stop, move to safety and report the concern through the errand.

A FEW MORE THINGS TO KNOW

Your choices and boundaries.

For more support, visit our help page or email the team.

Does verification guarantee that a task is safe?

No. Verification and applicable service checks help inform decisions, but cannot guarantee future conduct or the safety of every setting. Use your judgement, ask questions and do not proceed if the work or situation is unsafe.

Who controls task-location sharing?

The person sharing manages consent and device permissions. GoGuys can review active-task sharing in the safety panel and manage permissions in phone settings. Read the Privacy Policy for the difference between online availability and consented task tracking.

What if someone asks to move payment outside the app?

Keep service payments in ErrandBwoy so they remain associated with the errand. Do not share payment verification codes. Raise a concern through the errand if a request seems suspicious or conflicts with what you agreed.
